Fitness Assessment

A fitness assessment is an essential component of your initial consultation, where one of our qualified, experienced personal trainers will obtain details of past and present health conditions to assist in evaluating your current level of health and fitness. The trainer will check your resting heart rate, blood pressure, body weight, girth measurement, body composition, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, and posture. If you currently have an injury, this is also taken into account in designing your program.

A personally designed program is then tailored specific to your individual needs. The information obtained during the initial assessment is essential to ensure that your program is designed not only to meet your goals but is also in accordance with your health needs.

Further fitness assessments are conducted at regular 6-8 week intervals to measure both progress and effectiveness of the program, which is also modified accordingly.
